The Team
Thomas & Julie Jordan
Thomas Jordan is the owner and founder of Founders' Oak, driven by a passion for helping small businesses thrive.
Thomas began his career at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he advised clients across industries such as education, manufacturing, retail, and hospitality. Among his experiences, his work in procurement stood out as it provided insight into how SMBs could successfully serve Fortune 500 clients, leaving a lasting impression on him. Additionally, his involvement in advising a local chamber of commerce deepened his appreciation for the vital role small businesses play in strengthening their communities.
He later joined Learfield, a collegiate sports marketing leader, where he evaluated M&A opportunities and strategically advised each business unit. Thomas brings this breadth of experience to Founders' Oak, where he is committed to supporting business owners, employees, and the communities they serve.
Outside of work, Thomas enjoys playing golf, listening to country music (e.g., Tyler Childers), and cheering on his favorite college sports teams.
His wife, Julie, is an integral part of the Founders' Oak team, contributing her unwavering support and perspective to the business. A dedicated educator in Frisco, Julie shares Thomas’s passion for fostering meaningful connections and making a difference in the local community. When she's not shaping the minds of tomorrow, Julie loves exploring the outdoors and spending time with their two beloved pets.
Landa & Maple
Landa is the loyal golden retriever who embodies the spirit of Founders' Oak with her boundless energy and friendly demeanor. In fact, Landa’s namesake, the famous New Braunfels city park, is where the real Founders’ Oak is located.
Whether joining Thomas and Julie on walks or simply lounging in the office, Landa brings joy and companionship to everyone she meets. Her favorite pastimes include retrieving sticks, chasing deer, and enjoying the occasional treat.
Maple is the family’s adventurous tabby cat who keeps things interesting around the home. Known for his curious nature and insatiable appetite, Maple is a reminder of the importance of creativity and adaptability—values that resonate with Founders' Oak’s mission. When not supervising Landa’s antics, Maple can be found basking in the sun or curling up with her favorite humans.
